A new home furnishing store in Stuyvesant Plaza opened on Wednesday in Guilderland.

With a skyline of Albany on a mural as a backdrop, local goods like these Pratt + Hebert ceramics are featured at West Elm, opening this week in Stuyvesant Plaza. The store features 11 New York-based artists, including Hemstitch Mill and MW Neighborhoods.

Home furnishings, including mattresses by Leesa are featured in the new West Elm at Stuyvesant Plaza. The company donates a mattress to a homeless shelter for every 10 sold and also plants a tree, as part of an Arbor Day Foundation project, for each mattress sold. Stuyvesant Plaza’s West Elm is the seventh in New York State.
