The new playground at Berne Town Park in Berne was officially opened last Saturday.

Intrepid adventurer: A child makes her way across a bridge on a new playground at Berne Town Park. The playground was funded by a grant secured by state Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, who was on hand for Saturday’s opening and tried out the new slide.
