The Joyful Bees, a women’s group at St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Guilderland, opened J.B.s Nifty Thrifty at the church, at 5148 Western Ave., this month. Everything from clothes to housewares is reasonably priced and donations are gratefully accepted. “We knew there’s a lot of need and we wanted to do something to help the community,” said Anne Napoli, at left. With her is Barbara Emerson. For now, the store is open one day a week; both shoppers and donors can call 518-468-2004 to find out the hours. “We’ve had a very good response,” said Napoli.
