Isabella Doherty, a senior at Berne-Knox-Westerlo, analyzes the ingredients and measurements for hair coloring during a Sept. 16 class at the Schoharie campus of the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School. The students were mixing their own colors and highlights for the first time in Nancy Schmidt’s class. The students get 1,000 hours of training and experience needed to take the New York State licensure exam.
