Last week, Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls battled hard on the pitch and at the net, but came up short. The soccer team played Mekeel Christian Academy at home on Monday, trailing, 3 to 0, midway through the second half. The Bulldogs fought back, scoring two goals, but fell, 3 to 2. The volleyball team played well against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville but lost, three sets to one: 22-25, 17-25, 25-20, 7-25.
