On Wednesday afternoon, Sept 28, The Grand at Guilderland Center Rehabilitation and Extended Care facility was host the first annual The Grand senior Olympics.

Flick of the wrist: Jimmy Vega, a resident of the Grand at Guilderland Center, competes in the Frisbee toss at Wednesday’s Senior Olympics as two of his teammates watch the results. Other events included basketball, table bowling, horse shoes, bean bag toss, volleyball, and golf. Competitors came from grand facilities across the state.

Straight shooter: Stanley AuClaire from the Grand at River Valley in Poughkeepsie competes at table bowling Wednesday during the Senior Olympics held at the Grand’s Guilderland facility. The competition closed with a ceremony where winners were awarded medals.
