Artists at work: Art on the Rail Trail is sponsoring its annual Chalk the Walk event on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It begins at the pocket park on Delaware Avenue and spans the rail trail to the intersection at Adams Street. Each three-by-three-foot square costs $10 and must be purchased in advance by registering at www.mohawkhudson.org/events. Registration is open through 1 p.m. on Sept. 25. All proceeds from chalk sales will benefit murals and other artwork on the trail. Passersby will vote for the prize winners.
