Getting off on the right foot is key for the girls on Guilderland’s tennis and volleyball teams as they strive to get good seeds for sectional play in the coming weeks of the fall season. On Friday, both teams were in action. The tennis team faced off against Shenendehowa at home and squeaked to victory, 4 to 3, after the third doubles team won a key match. Then, the volleyball team spiked a win against Columbia; 25-17, 25-20, 20-25, 25-14.
