It takes more than one person to put a handcrafted harness onto a Clydesdale. The Budweiser Clydesdales stopped by the Altamont Fair last Saturday afternoon. The harnesses they wear cost $120,000 per horse and there are eight horses that help pull a large vintage-style Budweiser wagon.

Just like the commercials, the eight Budweiser Clydesdales start to pull the wagon last Saturday afternoon in the infield at the Altamont Fair, led by two Budweiser staffers and a Dalmatian. The brief show attracted a big crowd.

Large hooves are a distinctive feature of Clydesdales. Here, one of the eight Clydesdales at the Altamont Fair on Saturday stands in his stall before coming out to greet its fans.
