Running is for all ages: Sarah Berte, 30, from Voorheesville runs between Jim Hotaling, 77, from Niverville, left, and Joe Kelly, 84, from Menands at the start of the Voorheesville 5K on Saturday. Berte finished in 29th place with a time of 24:31, Hotaling finished 49th with a time of 30:25, and Kelly finished 72nd with a time of 40:27. There were 75 runners and one walker.

Making this one look easy: Erin Murphy, with her ponytail flying, sprints toward the finish in the Voorheesville 5K at the high school on Saturday. Murphy’s time was 21:40. Two week’s ago, in a close finish, she won the Fox Creek 5K in 22:24. Organizer Phil Carducci said the Voorheesville course is the toughest of the three in the Triple Crown because of the hills.
