Last Saturday, at Clayton A. Bouton High School, the second leg of the hilltown triple crown took place.

Seventy-eight runners leave the starting line of the Voorheesville 5K at Clayton A. Bouton High School on Saturday morning for the second leg of the Hilltown Triple Crown. The overall winner was Chris Miedema, in a turquoise T-shirt behind bare-chested Noah Valvo (394), with a time of 15:55. Miedema, a Berne-Knox-Westerlo teacher and coach, finished second two weeks ago in the Fox Creek 5K. The first female, Grace Skultety (389) won her second straight race with a time of 20:32. The final leg of the triple crown is in Altamont this Saturday at Bozenkill Park.
