American flags can be retired in a bin recently set up by the side of Berne’s Masonic lodge. The Hilltown Boy Scouts of Troop 1079 will properly dispose of the flags. “Boy Scouts are one of the few organizations with the privilege of retiring American flags,” says Scoutmaster Joseph Pray. “For those interested in joining the troop, the easiest way to join is through the Twin River Council website.”
