Photos: Warm Morning For Altamont 5k, Dominguez Wins Third In A Row

On Saturday, July 29, 157 runners took to the streets of Altamont for the last race in the Hilltown Triple Crown race series.

Finishing strong: Saratoga Springs’ Ramon Dominguez, 46, a hall of fame jockey, sprints towards the finish line to win his third straight Altamont 5k. Dominguez was first overall with a time of 17:00.

Pumping hard: Hudson’s Milly Seeley, 30, stares down the finish line as she swings her arms towards it. Seeley was the first female and sixth overall with a time of 18:22.

Down the stretch they come: Berne’s Joaquin Abraham, 14, (606) and Guilderland’s Shaun Buerker, 24, (807) battle one another as they quickly approach the finish line. Abraham finished 21st with a time of 21:31 and Buerker finished 22nd with a time of 21:47

Coming quickly: Schenectady’s Alex Middlekoop, 15, (821) runs down to catch Guilderland’s Jessica Northan, 47, (759) right at the finish line. Middlekoop finished 39th with a time of 25:59 and Northan finished 40th with a time of 26:00.

Eyeing the finish: Savannah Schmidt sprints hard towards the finish line. Schmidt finished in 45th with a time of 26:53.

Concluding their run: Saratoga Springs’ Molly Bogardus, 23, (673), Westerlo’s Andrew Joslin, 50, (724) and Clifton Park’s Richard Bennett, 71, (669) run towards the finish line. Bogardus finished 46th with a time of 27:29, Joslin 47th with a time of 27:29 and Bennett 48th with a time of 27:36.

Finishing all together: Albany’s Grace Dennin, 13, (698), Juliana Lafountain, 15, (732), and Paul Graffeo, 62, (706) make that last push as they come down towards the finish line. Dennin finished 64th with a time of 29:39, Lafountain 65th with a time of 29:40, and Graffeo 66th with a time of 29:43.
