And they’re off! All 144 runners break from the starting line, as some click play on their phones to listen to their music, as they start to leave Bozenkill Park. On Saturday, July 19, 144 runners hit the streets of Altamont as they battled in the second leg of the Hilltown Triple Crown.

Pulling away late: Chuck Terry, 43 of Albany, uses a late kick to extend his lead to 14 seconds over second place to win the Helderberg 5k with a time of 17:09.

Cool finish: Emily Bablin, 25 of Altamont, finishes strong as she approaches the finish line as she is the first female to cross. Bablin finished eighth overall with a time of 20:39.
