Jerry Crisci of Altamont, pictured with Beverly Filkins, a longtime Altamont Fair volunteer, has donated his collection of nearly 50 milk bottles to the fair. The bottles, some of which are from the counties the fair serves — Albany, Schenectady, and Greene — will be displayed in the Fair History Museum along with other milk bottles, including those from Meadowbrook Dairy in Clarksville, Indian Ladder Farms in New Scotland, Normanskill Dairy in Albany, and Youmans Dairy in New Scotland. Crisci’s collection includes bottles from G.J. Bishop in West Albany and from W.H. Rankin, Sarnowski Dairy, A. C. Waldron, and Bellevue Dairy — all in Schenectady.
