Photos: Bulldogs Bare Their Teeth In Sectionals
On Thursday, May 26, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo track team competed in the Section 2, Group 5 sectionals held at Stillwater High School in Stillwater. The girls finished in eighth with 26 points and the boys finished in 10th with 18 points.

Throwing far: Bulldogs’ Elise Lendrum pushes away her shot put during her last throw in the girls’ shot put event. Lendrum finished in 12th with a distance of 24 feet, 4.25 inches.

Double champ: Bulldogs’ Katie Stevens races down the track as Waterford’s Cassidy McClement tries to catch up. Stevens won the sectional championship in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13 seconds, and then won the 200-meters with a time of 28.02 seconds.

Air bud: Bulldogs’ Locke Gerken leaps off his left foot as he raises up to clear the bar in the high jump event. Gerken finished in fourth at a height of 5 feet, 6 inches.
