Photos: Bulldogs Pounce In Sectionals
Last Thursday, May 23, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo track team competed in the Section 2, Group 5 sectional held at Waterford-Halfmoon High School. The boys finished third with 82 points and the girls finished in seventh with 34 points.
Breezing to victory: Bulldogs’ Arlen Wright soars over the second to last hurdle in the 400-meter hurdles. Wright won the event with a time of 1:00.29 and also won the high jump event with a height of six feet.

Letting it go: Bulldogs’ Mackenzie Lawrence completes her spin as she releases her discus on her second attempt. Lawrence finished 12th with a distance of 77 feet, 5 inches and won the shot put with a distance of 34 feet, 1 inch.
