Photos: Blackbirds Use Second-Half Surge To Defend Championship

Last Wednesday, May 21, the Voorheesville girls’ lacrosse team, the top seed in Class D, opened up their title defense against the fourth-seed Hoosick Falls-Tamarac at home in the semifinals of the Section 2, Class D sectionals. The Birds fell behind but the champs used a strong second-half surge to win, 15 to 13.
