On Friday, May 14, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo baseball team hosted Western Athletic Conference foe in Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville. The Bulldogs fell behind 6-0 but could only chip away for two runs and fell 6-to-2 at home.

Here’s the pitch: Bulldogs’ Tim Saddlemire throws a pitch towards the plate in the first inning of Berne-Knox-Westerlo’s home game against OESJ on Friday afternoon. Saddlemire pitched one inning and two-thirds, allowing six runs but five were earned, walked six, four hits and one strikeout.
