Last Saturday afternoon, Altamont's VFW post 7062 hosted their annual Loyality Day.

“As 10-year-olds, we have responsibilities to America,” said second place essay winner Gabe Zullo reads his essay to the crowd last Saturday at the VFW post 7062 in Altamont.

“They’re always giving back, the love of their Nation, community, and the people” said Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy about Veterans last Saturday as he was the main speaker to about 30 people during Loyalty Day in Altamont.
