The Voorheesville fifth-graders’ production of "Willy Wonka Jr." will be at the secondary school stage this Friday and Saturday at 7:15 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Singing about her desires, Veruca Salt, played by Olivia Sidoti, is backed up by a squirrel holding a nut — which, of course, will be used to make candy. “Willy Wonka Jr.” comes to the Voorheesville Performing Arts Center on May 12 and 13 at 7:15 p.m. and on May 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults with a $4 discount for seniors and students.
