Ella Carey, a Berne-Knox-Westerlo junior, is in her first-year of the two-year Sequence of Health Careers program on the Schoharie Career and Technical School campus. “I have always wanted to be a nurse and this program is a good opportunity to get a head start,” she said while practicing bathing a mannequin. Carey said that she “loves to help people” and wants to be a nurse “because it is just really fun to do.”
