On a cold and rainy Tuesday afternoon, the Voorheesville boys’ and girls’ varsity outdoor track teams battled the Albany Academies, Watervliet, and Cobleskill-Richmondville at home. The girls flew away by winning against all three teams, beating Cobleskill-Richmondville, 72 to 68; besting Albany Academy for Girls, 89 to 46; and conquering Watervliet, 102 to 20.The boys battled hard and were able to win against one of the teams. They lost to Cobleskill-Richmondville, 98 to 36, and to Albany Academy, 100 to 41, and won against Watervliet, 70 to 44.
