Photos: Cadets Walk It Off Against Blackbirds

Last Thursday, April 16, the Voorheesville baseball squad traveled to Joseph L. Bruno stadium to take on LaSalle. The Birds had a lead into the seventh inning but the Cadets chipped away and the Birds fell 5-4.

Big drive: Blackbirds’ Bo Normile swings his bat towards the incoming pitch to send it towards the left field fence. Normile had one hit in three at-bats, scored once and had two RBIs.

Making his pitches: Blackbirds’ Drew Hillicoss uses his right foot to push off the rubber as he delivers a pitch towards the plate. Hillicoss went five innings giving up three unearned runs on two hits while striking out two and walking seven.
