The weather was cold and windy on Tuesday afternoon as the Berne-Knox-Westerlo track-and-field team faced off against Duanesburg at home. The teams did their best in the windy conditions where the BKW boys won, 72 to 49, and the girls lost, 83 to 46.

Flying high: Bulldogs' Sean Motschmann leaps from the board in the long jump. Motschmann finished second with a distance of 15 feet, 3.5 inches and came back to win the triple jump with a distance of 31 feet, 2 inches.

Running hard: Bulldogs' Aiden Gardineer sprints down the backstretch in the 400-meter dash. Gardineer finished third with a time of 63.44 and won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.9 seconds.

Staying close: Berne-Knox-Westerlo’s Brandon Bungay runs next to Duanesburg’s George Aterasov in the 1600-meter run. Bungay finished second with a time of 5:39.9.
