Photos: Blackbirds Soccer Shows No Rust in Victory

The Voorheesville Boys soccer team coming off a 13-day pause got back onto the pitch on Tuesday afternoon, April 13, against Schalmont at Schalmont High School in Rotterdam. After a back and forth first half, the Blackbirds dominated the second half to push past the Sabres 3 to 1. Aiden Lawson led the Birds with two goals and goalkeeper Ryan Beardsley had nine saves.
