The Bulldogs had their first outdoor track meet on Tuesday, April 11, against Schoharie where the Bulldogs split. The boys’ team lost, 67 to 45, and the girls’ team won, 79 to 56.

Speed demon: BKW’s Xzavier Rich, way ahead of the pack, cruises to a nine-second victory in the 400-meter race, where his time was 56.2 seconds. Rich also won the 400-meter race with a time 25.0 seconds, four-tenths of a second over Schoharie’s Aidan Wellman.

Setting a new personal record: Bulldogs’ Kristen Norray releases her shot in the shot put field event. Norray won the event with a distance of 32 feet, 11 inches. She also won the discus event, with a distance of 92 feet, 2 inches.

Quick start: BKW’s Kara Sherwin flew past the competition as she won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.71 seconds.

Victory was a breeze: Caroline Mundell easily puts away her competition in the 1500-meter and 3,000-meter runs. Here, Mundell wins the 1500-meter run by at least 20 seconds with a time of 5:44; her time in the 3,000-meter was 13:26.
