Sharing space: William Coons, left center, and Christian Klueg, next to Coons, cut the ribbon to open their business, CMK Real Estate, sharing space with the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce at 2050 Western Avenue in Guilderland’s Star Plaza. Standing alongside Coons and Klueg are Tom Gessick, chamber board member; Michael Ermides, Star Plaza; Paul Miller, Albany County Legislator, 32nd District; Michelle Coons, wife of William Coons; Mark Grimm, Albany County Legislator, 29th District; Lee Carman, Guilderland Town Board; Samantha Coons, daughter of William and Michelle Coons; and Kathy Burbank, interim president of Guilderland Chamber. In December, the chamber modified its space to allow for businesses or individuals to rent space for offices or conferences; there are currently three tenants. The chamber is considering acquiring more office space to accommodate more businesses.
