It’s the start of a new season for the Voorheesville boys’ lacrosse team with a new attitude under a new coach. Although the young team has only three seniors, it won the season’s first game, 12 to 6, against Johnstown on Thursday, March 30. The game was supposed to be the Blackbirds’ home opener but, because of the snow, it was played on artificial turf at Lansingburgh High School in Troy.
