Karie Jean’s Closet has moved in Voorheesville next to the Car Wash and the old automotive place.

These boots are made for walking: Karie Jean’s Closet offers everything from footwear to jewelry. Store hours are Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday from noon to 7 p.m., and Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. “We are 100-percent volunteer run, 100-percent donated goods, 100-percent non-profit,” says manager Linda Martin.

Linda Martin, who manages Karie Jean’s Closet, checks some of the clothing. “We have really nice-quality clothing at bargain prices” said volunteer Joan Burns. Donations are gratefully accepted. The store also provides free private shopping to people in need.

Karie Jean’s Closet has moved from the First United Methodist Church in Voorheesville, where it was founded three years ago, to more spacious quarters at 50 Voorheesville Ave. in Voorheesville, beside the car wash.
