Residents, like these advocates for immigrants, raised their concerns about the impacts of federal decisions on state programs at a March 20 “town hall” hosted by State Senator Patricia Fahy and Assembly members Garbriella Romero and John McDonald. The roughly $252 billion state budget currently being hammered out would typically get $96 billion from federal sources. About 100 people attended the event at the University at Albany’s Page Hall.
