Photos: Blackbirds Hold Back Riverhawks, Win Sectional Title on Saturday
Last Wednesday, March 5, the top-seeded Voorheesville Blackbirds were looking to take that next step and get to a sectional final but first had to get past Coxsackie-Athens in the Section 2, Class B sectional semifinal. The Blackbirds did just that with a 58-43 win then on Saturday they won against Mechanicville 62-51.
