The Dutch were loud, proud, and showed plenty of smiles Saturday as the team made its second trip to state competition at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse. The Guilderland winter cheer team was one of five Section 2 teams to compete and came in 10th in the state in its division.

Supporting their cheer team: Dutch Head Coach Taylor Mantica along with cheer parents and the other four Section 2 teams root for the Dutch. Guilderland ended its season by not qualifying for the final routine and finished with 172.40 points in the Division 1, small school division, coming in last behind nine other schools; Greece-Athena High School, of Section 5, won with 217.18 points.
