Gardeners help students grow: Linda Miller, vice president of the Guilderland Garden Club, right, presents a donation to Erin Kinal, Education Program director of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission. The preserve received the check from sales and donations made at the club’s 2014 Annual Holiday Greens Show and Open House held in December at the Mynderse-Frederick House in Guilderland Center. The donation will be used toward student programs at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center. “The club is proud to support the programs that are provided by the preserve and applaud the efforts that have been made to continue to protect and preserve the rare and precious Albany Pine Bush,” said Merril-Lee Lenegar, the club’s president.
