Photos: Dutch Shred Snow At Sectionals, Two Will Compete At States

Last Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Guilderland Nordic ski team took part in the Section 2 championships at the Gore Mountain Nordic Center against 10 other teams. The Dutch shredded the snow away as Guilderland’s Nathaniel Burke and Landon Kinal qualified for the boys. Overall, the boys finished second with 27 points and the girls came in fourth with 47 points.

Speedy duo: Guilderland’s Nathaniel Burke (1) and Christopher Bowman (47) both speed around the tricky corner as they battle in the race. Burke finished 7th with a time of 27:01.6 and Bowman finished 16th with a time of 31:12.7. Burke will compete along with Landon Kinal at states.
