Photos: Dutch Duo Spring to States

Two Guilderland gymnasts — Allison Rem, middle left, and Rachel Drislane, middle right, are on their way to state competition, March 3 at Cold Springs Harbor High School on Long Island. They secured their spots on Wednesday evening as they and their teammates danced and tumbled at the Section 2 championship meet at Shaker High School. The Dutch hoped to beat Saratoga, division champs 17 years straight, but came in second to the perennial winner. After three rotations, Guilderland was in third place but pulled into second with 161 points.
