Photos: Cooking up for Jack's Place

On Sunday, Feb 3rd, the Guilderland Elks held a all-you-can-eat breakfast to raise funds for Jack’s Place in Schenectady, which houses families of out-of-town patients at Ellis Hospital and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. Jack’s Place was built as a tribute to Jack Falvo III who died at age 21.

Foods up! Hungry diners line the buffet where volunteers are ready for them with tongs to scoop up bacon, pancakes, french toast, hash browns, and scrambled eggs on Sunday morning at the Guilderland Elks Club on Carman Road to raise funds for Jack’s Place in Schenectady, which houses families of out-of-town patients at Ellis Hospital and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. Handmade: Cohoes student Jordan Stone uses his hands to mix the ingredients for homemade hash browns. Mark Brucker, culinary-arts Instructor at the Capital Region BOCES, helped the kids.
