Photos: Birds Shot Down

The Voorheesville Blackbirds girls’ basketball team traveled to Academy of the Holy Names in a make-up game, rescheduled from Jan. 12 to Jan. 18. The Blackbirds started off well, with hard-to-penetrate defense, leading in the first half, 15 to 9. The second half was a different story as Voorheesville’s shots didn’t fall and the Holy Names defense kept the Birds off kilter in the 32-to-24 loss.
