The Karner Kids Film Festival will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 6:30 pm at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center. “Join us to see some amazingly creative Pine Bush films made by young people,” said Education Program Manager, Sara Poggi-Decker. We’ll meet the querulous queen, the woebegone workers, and the dull drones, while learning about the various jobs they have within the colony. Observe up close the features of the hive, including the fabulous feeding port and the tubular TUBE. Try on the beekeeping equipment, and test your honeybee knowledge in a friendly trivia game!
