The Guilderland Performing Arts Center at Tawasentha Park has another great Summer Concert Series scheduled this year. On Thursday, August 2, The Guilderland Town Band will perform at 7:30 pm. The Band will be performing a musical arrangement to bring you back in time, “Flashback from 2008” Parking is free and the performance is open to the public. Donations are graciously accepted to help cover artists’ fees.

“New York Players – New York’s Dance Party Experts” will perform July 28th,at 7:30 pm. This exciting band is regarded as an “entertainment powerhouse”. The New York Players are well known for performing at weddings and events in the Capital Region. Now they are bringing the party to GPAC! Parking is free and the performance is open to the public. Canine Camp will run July 30 - August 3, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Our theme this year is “Dogs with Jobs.” Join us to learn about canine health, behavior, training, enjoy demonstrations, and meet new friends! Youth ages 10-18 are welcome to attend. Calling All Insect Enthusiasts! at Thacher Nature Center at 1:00p.m. Learn how to catch insects like a professional, identify them, and get started on your very own collection!
