Local students receive scholarships at Clarkson University

These local students received scholarships at Clarkson University during the 2013-14 academic year:

Matthew Reluzco of Schenectady, a freshman majoring in engineering studies, received the Wallace H. Coulter Endowed Scholarship and the David A. Walsh '67 Endowed Scholarship;

Victoria Kocsis of Berne, a junior majoring in biology and biomolecular science, received the Andrea K. Bridge '68 and John E. O'Beirne Presidential Achievement Endowed Scholarship, Purcell J and Edith O. Brownell Endowed Scholarship and the David Scaringe '01 Memorial Sponsored Scholarship;

Karen Dawson of Voorheesville, a senior majoring in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, and political science, received the Kristin Bandy Craig Honors Endowed Scholarship;

Connor Tompkins of Voorheesville, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the Richard and Gina Weniger Memorial Endowed Scholarship;

Alexander Macri of Voorheesville, a sophomore majoring in computer science and digital arts and science, received the Elinore and Beecher '50 Greenman Class of 2016 Share Clarkson Direct Scholarship;

Brian Root of Altamont, a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering, received the Margaret Van Hamlin Haddad Endowed Scholarship; and

Adam Bailey of Voorheesville, a sophomore majoring in civil engineering, received the David Scaringe '01 Memorial Sponsored Scholarship.
