These local students recently earned degrees:

— Seth Betteridge of Schenectady graduated from Messiah College in Pennsylvania with a degree in engineering;

— Rachel Jordan of Voorheesville graduated summa cum laude from Messiah College in Pennsylvania with a degree in health and exercise science. Jordan graduated with departmental honors;

— Sarah Meszler of Altamont graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in exercise science and physical education at McDaniel College in Maryland. Meszler also is the recipient of The Michael and Polly Beaver Award for Excellence in Education;

— Rebecca Vega of Altamont graduated from Hofstra University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration;
