Grads

These local students have recently earned diplomas:

Ryan Allison of Voorheesville, has earned a doctor of physical therapy degree in physical therapy from Springfield College;

Christian M. Bracken, formerly of Altamont and a 2002 Guilderland High School and 2006 University of Buffalo graduate, received a doctor of jurisprudence degree from Northeastern University, in Boston;

Anne Jameson Hargrave, daughter of Dr. Douglas and Mrs. Kip Hargrave of Delmar, graduated from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Other recognition included: dean’s list. Hargrave is a graduate of Emma Willard School;

Kevin A. Mason of Altamont, received a bachelor of science degree with distinction in chemical engineering with a mathematics minor from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.;

Robert J. King of Schenectady, received a bachelor of science degree in engineering and management with a project management minor from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.;

Karen M. Dawson of Voorheesville, received a bachelor of science degree with great distinction in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, and political science from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.;

Connor D. Tompkins of Voorheesville, received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.;

Hannah Derbyshire, a graduate of Bethlehem High School from Slingerlands, is a member of the Colgate University graduating Class of 2014. Derbyshire, majored in sociology and anthropology;

Theo Ferguson, son of Christine Costopoulos of Slingerlands, graduated from Saint Michaels’s College in Vermont with a bachelor of science degree in accounting;
