Newcomers are welcome to join our Altamont Seniors for lunch on Tuesdays at the St. Lucy’s/St. Bernadette’s Parish Center on Grand Street in Altamont.

Lunch is served at 12:30 p.m. but people arrive around noon and get settled and visit with table-mates ahead of lunch. You must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and wear a mask until seated

Reservations are needed by the Sunday prior to the luncheon. Meals are prepared by the Guilderland High School kitchen staff, specially planned and prepared for our group.

There is always a choice between a hot or cold lunch. Meals are served by a corps of friendly, helpful volunteers. Homemade desserts are a frequent “happy ending” to our lunch.

Informational programs, entertainment, and occasional outings in the community are often part of our Tuesday program. Some members get together for cards or other table games after lunch.

If you have a talent or interest to share, like to tell jokes, or just enjoy sharing a meal, join us soon.
