The Guilderland Senior Services is offering the following activities the week of June 9. Call the senior office at 356-1980, ext. 1048 with any questions or for information.
Monday: Trip to the 911 Memorial and museum in New York City leaving at 5:45 a.m., Xmas Tree Store shopping trip, no aerobics, Strong Bones Plus at 10:30 a.m., and Strong Bones Plus at 1:30 p.m.;
Tuesday: Strong Bones Plus at 9 a.m., senior luncheon to be announced or a cold plate at 11:30 a.m., food pantry drawing at noon, and bingo/Rummikub at 12:30 p.m.;
Wednesday: Scheduled shopping, Xmas Tree Store shopping trip, Strong Bones Plus at 10:30 a.m., no senior fitness, needlecraft at 1 p.m., and Strong Bones Plus at 1:30 p.m.;
Thursday: Scheduled shopping, Strong Bones Plus at 9 a.m., Mahjongg at 12:30 p.m., and Pinochle at 1 p.m.; and
Friday: Scheduled shopping, painting at 10 a.m., Bridge at 10 a.m., and quilting at 1 p.m.
Drivers needed
We are currently seeking volunteers to deliver Meals on Wheels to area homebound residents. This volunteer position would be approximately 2 hours from 10 a.m. to noon, on Mondays. We are also seeking substitute drivers for meal deliveries, which may be one to two days per month.
