Altamont Senior News for Saturday, October 22, 2016

All are invited on Tuesday to the following luncheons in Altamont located at St. Lucy/Bernedette parish center, Grand St. in Altamont at 11:30 a.m. Please call Winne Klenotiz at 861-5161 no later than Sunday evening prior to the scheduled event. Bus transportation will be provided for seniors living in Altamont.

Events for October and November:

— Tuesday, Oct. 25: at 1:15 p.m. Joe Burke our Altamont librarian will talk on the two current book clubs that are  held at the Altamont library. Susan St Amour will talk about her career as a musician. Then. we will hear her play “Amazing Grace”, “Ashokan Farewell” and a tune from Pretty Women on her viola;

—  Tuesday, Nov. 1: the Altamont Seniors will be holding an auction. We will have many wonderful items, that will be presented. For those who wish to participate it will be $1 for five tickets;

— Tuesday, Nov. 15: Ed Frank will provide music and sing; and

—  Tuesday, Nov. 22: Anne Marie Farro will bring the third grade classes over to visit and entertain us.

We welcome everyone 60 and over to our regular Tuesday luncheons starting at 11:30 a.m. Join us for conversation, games, and scheduled entertainment.
