Altamont and Hilltown residents age 55 and over are welcome to the regular Tuesday luncheons starting at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Lucy/Bernadette Parish Center on Grand Street in Altamont.

Please call Winne Klenotiz at 518-861-5161 no later than Sunday evening prior to the scheduled event for reservation. Bus transportation will be provided only for seniors living in Altamont.

On Feb. 27, Edward Frank and his friend Kerry Thompson, from the Albany County Sheriff's Office, provided “Music by Kerry.”

Future luncheon events include:

— March 6: Altamont Elementary School third-grade students will join us;

— March 13: The Knox Traditional Strings has been invited to play. We will have  string instruments playing for our seniors;

— March 20: Pat Lightbody will be doing a craft, “Sun Catchers from Natural Cut Stones.” Please sign up as we have a limited amount of cut stones for this craft; and

— March 27: We are looking forward to Altamont’s local clergy who will be speaking to us during Holy Week.
