Westerlo Library Notes for Tuesday, December 24, 2019

As we wrap up 2019, the staff, the Westerlo Board of Library Trustees, and I want to thank everyone for a wonderful year. We appreciate all of our library patrons.

Your kindness and support makes what we do to serve the community of Westerlo all the more special. As we look forward to 2020, we hope to meet and serve even more members of our community.

Dog therapy

Now that you are all done with retail therapy and many of you are one full week into a two full week break from school, the library has just what you need! Shorty, the therapy dog, will be at the library as a quiet, lovable, companion who enjoys being petted.

Having a tough day, week, or month? Then come spend some time with Shorty and relax for a bit. He will be here from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30.

Trustees meet

The Westerlo Board of Library Trustees will meet on Monday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Hannay Room at the library. This is an open public meeting.

Holidays

The library will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 31, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, in observation of the New Year.

 Lego Club

Yes! Lego Club will be meeting on Dec. 30. Drop in on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to play and create with Legos.

 Winter break

Two weeks of no school! Look what you can do at the library: Board games and puzzles.

Do you enjoy playing board games and putting together puzzles? The library has a selection of both for you to enjoy here in our Hannay Community room. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while working on a puzzle.

Come play a game or two with your friends. The community room is a great place to spend time together.
