Westerlo Library Notes for Wednesday, September 18, 2019

The Westerlo Public Library is not just a place to take out books. You can also borrow magazines, DVDs, and audiobooks — and your library card offers you access to materials at 29 other Upper Hudson Libraries.

We also have laptops that you can use in the library. The library offers fax, printer, and copy services as well. Did you know we have free Wi-Fi access

Come stop by, have a cup of coffee, have a seat in one of our comfy chairs and enjoy what Westerlo Public Library is all about.

Heldercon

Make sure to stop by the Westerlo Public Library’s table at the Heldercon on Saturday, Sept. located at the Berne Town Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come make a Superhero craft and touch the plasma globe. Reading is your superpower!

Technology Walk-In Wednesdays

Do you have a new smartphone or tablet, but don’t know how to download digital materials?  Need to brush up on your computer skills – or obtain basic skills? See Amy on Wednesdays between 10 a.m and 1 p.m. for free, personalized, one-on-one instruction.

Lego Club

Do you like playing with Legos? How tall of a tower can you make? Can you design a secret hideaway for your favorite superhero? Drop in on Monday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to play and create with Legos. Miss Lee is also available for homework help.

Story time

Join Miss Lee Wednesday mornings beginning at 11 a.m. for stories, songs, and movement activities designed for infants to children up to five years old. Storytime is a great opportunity for caregivers and young children to meet new friends and start on the road of a lifelong love of reading.
