Westerlo Library Notes for Wednesday, July 29, 2020

In addition to our porch pick-up appointments, we now have a limited number of appointments available to come inside and browse. Please check our website https://www.westerlolibrary.org/ or call 518-797-3415 during our regular hours for an appointment or porch pick-up.

Anyone entering the library is expected to wear a mask, follow six feet social distancing, and wash their hands before browsing. Please use the outdoor book-drop for all returns. All items on the shelf have been quarantined for 96 hours for your safety.

If you have any questions on how to safely get library materials please give us a call at the library and one of our staff members will be happy to help you out.

Summer Reading

The Summer Reading Program is a little different this year but it’s still fun!

Stop by the library to pick up your paper forms to fill out the time or titles of the books you are reading. You can also pick up Take-and-Make kits to do at home. All of our online story times and Take-and-Make kits videos can be viewed on our Facebook page.

Even though we can’t be together, we want to make sure we are offering fun activities for you to enjoy throughout the summer. So stop by and pick up your kits today!

Virtual Book Club

You are cordially invited to our first virtual book club on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. Our first book will be “Elizabeth is Missing” by Emma Healey. If you are interested in joining us, please send an email to info@westerlolibrary.org to get the online invitation and information to our Book Club

You can find the book in multi formats on OverDrive or Hoopla. We hope that you will join us at our first virtual Book Club! Trying something new, safely, is what this is all about!
